Top Five Imports and Exports of Chongqing Electrical and Mechanical Products

First, the import and export of machinery and electronic products was US$22.43 billion, a year-on-year increase of 27.7%, ranking first in the Midwest and ninth in the country.

Second, the import and export of high-tech products was 15.51 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 45.8% year-on-year, ranking sixth in the country, with exports of 10.43 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 54.3% year-on-year, ranking fourth in the country.

The third is that the export of automobiles has risen against the trend. Under the background of the decline in national exports, 56,000 vehicles were exported, valued at US$360 million, an increase of 30.3% and 50.5% year-on-year respectively.

Fourth, motorcycle exports reversed the downward trend, with 1.866 million vehicles exported, valued at US$850 million, and ranked first in the country, with year-on-year growth of 2.7% and 5.5% respectively.

Fifth, Tongji’s exports were 790 million U.S. dollars, ranking first in the country, an increase of 21.2% year-on-year.
