Recently, GAC Mitsubishi Motors Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ in accordance with the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall and the Implementation Measures for the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall, and decided to start from November 6, 2017. A total of 81,472 vehicles were produced during the recall from January 28, 2015 to January 5, 2017.
Due to the manufacturer's manufacturing reasons, some of the vehicles in the scope of this recall may have abnormal heat generation and desoldering during the use of the welding unit of the engine control unit relay, resulting in circuit disconnection, causing the engine to stall during the vehicle running and unable to start again, posing a safety hazard. GAC Mitsubishi Motors Co., Ltd. will replace qualified engine control relays for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
