100,000-ton ships can take in and out of Jingtang Port Area

Recently, the Tangshan Port Jingtang Port Area 70,000-ton waterway and the supporting phase of the sand-protected embankment project passed the project acceptance. The completion and commissioning of the 70,000-ton waterway has completely opened up the waterway leading to the various places in the Jingtang Port Area. The navigation capacity of the ship will increase from the current 50,000-ton class to more than 100,000 tons.

With the development of large-scale international shipping vessels and the deepening of berths, port production operations are increasingly dependent on waterways. In recent years, the operation and production of Jingtang Port Area has developed rapidly, and the port berth level has also increased from 15,000 to 35,000 tons to the current level of 15,000 to 100,000 tons. The rapid development of operation and production and the improvement of the berth level have put forward higher requirements for the navigation capacity of the navigation channel. For this reason, the Jingtang Port Area has expanded and extended to the west by unilaterally on the basis of the original 35,000-ton waterway. It is 9350 meters long and 180 meters wide at the bottom. It is designed with a 70,000-ton waterway project with a height of -15 meters.
