Sony's smart glasses were first announced at CES earlier this year. This is a super-popular high-tech product, but Google's pair of glasses is paired with your Android phone.

The company is available to developers in its software development kit today and said it will release the hardware kit. Sony's spectacle lenses claim to have 85% transparency, and use holographic optical technology to cover the visual wearer's immediate site with information to increase the target, point of interest, or person in charge they are looking for. The smart glasses are equipped with handheld data packs that carry batteries, voice recognition microphones and navigation buttons. These can provide information to optimize the user's current situation.
