New energy vehicle battery recycling new regulations will be implemented on August 1

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Interim Regulations on the Management of the Sources of Recycling and Utilization of Power Battery for New Energy Vehicles" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"), and established the "National Monitoring Platform for the National Monitoring and Power Battery Recycling and Utilization of New Energy Vehicles" to produce, sell and use power batteries. Collecting information in the whole process of recycling, etc., and monitoring the fulfillment of responsibility for recycling of each link. It will take effect on August 1, 2018.

From the date of the implementation of this regulation, the new energy vehicle products newly obtained for the "Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products Announcement" and the imported new energy vehicles that have obtained compulsory product certification shall be postponed from the date of the implementation of this regulation by 12 Conduct traceability management in the month. The scrapped car recycling and dismantling enterprise shall upload the information within 15 working days after receiving the scrapped new energy vehicle and issuing the “Retired Car Recycling Certificate”; upload the information within 15 working days after the used power battery is disassembled and handed over. For the utilization of new energy vehicle power storage batteries, the regulations are clear. Recycling enterprises should upload information within 30 working days after receiving the storage of the used power storage batteries; upload the information within 30 working days after the completion of recycling and final processing.
