At different seasons, in order to control the chicken houses temperature especially at winter, the heater is must to keep chicks warm. During broiler chicks brooding period which is day old to 7 days, the temperature of chicks should keeping at 27-29 ℃, the temperature around the chicks in chicken houses should keep around 39-32℃. The heater starting working in about two days before the chicks enter chicken sheds. The temperature decreasing 2 degrees each week after. The temperature decreasing should be gradually, and stable, it is not allowed to decrease suddenly, otherwise the chicken is easy catch cold, indigestion, diarrhea, etc. To be sure if the temperature is properly for chicks except temperature controlled by the sensor, but also needs to check the chicks. If the chicken are lively, moving freely and sounding happily, feeding and drinking are normally, that these tell us that they are in good health and temperature is ok. If the chicks crowding together near to heating source, sounds low, drinking less, it means the temperature is lower for them. If chicks away to heating source, wings are open, breathing heavily, drinking more which means temperature is higher for them. So have to control the house temperature strictly.
