At present, there are 57 equipment manufacturing enterprises with sales revenues of more than 5 million yuan. Last year, the total industrial output value was 4.52 billion yuan, accounting for 14.29% of the city's total industrial output value. It achieved a tax of 70 million yuan, a profit of 108 million yuan, and 5,564 employees.
In order to promote the transformation and development of the equipment manufacturing industry, Yidu has launched a series of “combination punchesâ€: organizing the visits of some key enterprise managers to Xiangyang and Shiyan, holding a meeting of the leaders of large-scale enterprises, and actively promoting the establishment of financial institutions and equipment manufacturing enterprises. Deputy Mayor Chen Honglin introduced that during the “12th Five-Year Plan†period, Yidu will make efforts in expanding the scale of enterprises, enhancing brand strategy, and improving innovation capabilities, focusing on the development of construction machinery, hydraulic machinery, transport machinery, auto parts and precision steel pipes. For new products, we will strive to achieve an output value of RMB 20 billion by 2015, and build the largest domestic hydraulic hoist, a connecting rod production base for internal combustion engines and an important production base for bulk material handling machinery.
