Russian potash producer Uralkali is updating the company's Solikamsk-2 granulation line in the Perm region of Russia, increasing the production of the line to 20 to 35 tons per hour. The project is expected to invest 16.8 million US dollars. Ural said that it will not interrupt production during the process of updating the production line. The original processing equipment is now being dismantled and installation of new equipment will begin in late March.
