Shanghai Zhehong Fanuc Reactor

The reactor in the circuit generally has two functions:
â‘ Suppress surge (voltage, current); â‘¡Suppress harmonic current.
1. Surge suppression: In high-power power electronic circuits, a large inrush current (surge current) is often generated at the moment of closing. Although the inrush current has a short action time, the peak value is large. For example, in electric arc furnaces, large rolling mills, large switching power supplies, UPS power supplies, frequency converters, etc., the startup surge current often exceeds 100 times the normal operating current. Connecting reactors in series on the input side can effectively suppress this surge current. "At the moment of closing, the reactor is in a high resistance state (equivalent to an open circuit)."
2. Suppress harmonic currents With the wide application of power electronic technology, a large number of non-linear loads have been added to our power grid, such as AC-DC power supplies, UPS, inverters, etc., all of which work in switching mode. These electrical equipment that works in a switching mode often become a source of harmonic currents, "polluting" the power grid and distorting the grid voltage waveform. One of the hazards of harmonics is that the center line is overloaded and heated. The connection of reactor can effectively suppress harmonic pollution.
