The products of LDV, the predecessor of SAIC Chase (LDV domestic brand name) in the UK, and other developed countries all have a certain influence. After SAIC Commercial Vehicles has completed the acquisition of this British commercial vehicle company, it is in both the Commonwealth countries and Europe. The name of the LDV was consciously retained. The LDVV80 commercial vehicle is a new achievement of the technological upgrading completed by the SAIC Group after its acquisition in 2009.
Since 2012, SAIC Commercial Vehicles has steadily advanced its global strategy. At the Beijing Auto Show in April 2012, SAIC Commercial Vehicles signed a contract with a Chilean distributor; in early July, 102 vehicles were exported to South Africa. In contrast, Australia has become the third largest overseas strategic market and the first developed country market for SAIC commercial vehicles following South Africa and ASEAN. The total number of domestic vehicle orders entering the Australian market reached more than 200 vehicles.
