On November 12th, Qingdao Shuangrui Company completed the commissioning and inspection of the ballast water project of the 175,000-ton bulk carrier at Mingcun Shipyard. The project uses the BalClor® ballast water management system, model BC-5000, which is the largest ballast water treatment unit delivered by Qingdao Shuangrui to date. The project has accurate design, reasonable layout and stable operation of the equipment, which has won high recognition from the shipyard and shipowners.
It is reported that BalClor® ballast water management system is independently developed and produced by Qingdao Shuangrui. It adopts filtration and branch electrolytic treatment technology. The concept is advanced and the technology is mature. The maximum processing capacity of a single unit is up to 7200m3/h. It is successfully installed in various models. More than 120 vessels; has been CCS, NK, ABS, DNV-GL, BV, LR, Liberia and other internationally recognized classification societies of type approval, the world's first certified by the USCG AMS, USCG final approval test goes well, has been completed Land-based test all test content.
BC-5000 type ballast water management system is the first application that is loaded in Japan a new creation of large vessels, indicating Qingdao Double Swiss for its own products with confidence, and once again demonstrate the significant advantages of Qingdao Double Swiss ballast water management systems in the field of large ships, but also for the BC-6000 and later models of ballast water management systems as soon as possible the real ship applications and data accumulated valuable experience. Perfect ending of the project has laid a solid foundation for the development of new Qingdao Double Swiss shipbuilding and ships in ballast water market in Japan.
