Gude expert meter system uses single-phase energy metering chip

( GudeAnalog-und Digitalsysteme GmbH) adopted an expert meter system for the company. Gude chose IDT's energy metering chip because it has the highest accuracy and widest dynamic range in the industry.

The IDT90E2X is a high-performance energy meter for single-phase two-wire, single-phase three-wire or anti-tamper meter. It has the industry's widest dynamic range of 5000:1 and can accurately meter over a large current range of 20mA to 100A. The chip can measure voltage and current RMS, average active, reactive and apparent power, as well as phase angle, power factor, frequency and other parameters.
