Recently, GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall, and decided to recall from August 20, 2017 to 2014 from March 10, 2017. Some of the 2012 and 2014 models of the Feixiang sedan produced during the October 14th period totaled 68,899.
Some vehicles in this recall range have problems with the mounting bracket design. After the gearbox control module is installed, the external stress of the bracket is damaged, resulting in damage to the internal control chip of the transmission control module, which may cause the vehicle to accidentally switch to neutral or engine stall during driving. ,There are security risks. GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the gearbox control module and the newly designed gearbox control module bracket for the vehicles within the recall range to eliminate safety hazards.
The recall was carried out under the influence of the AQSIQ investigation. For some time, the AQSIQ received a report from consumers that the vehicle was interrupted during the driving process of the GAC Fiat Philippine car. Immediately, the General Directorate Defective Product Management Center was deployed to investigate the above issues and notify the producers to conduct investigations and analysis. It is required to take effective measures to protect the safety of consumers. Guangqi Fiat Chrysler Automobile Co., Ltd., which was affected by the investigation, decided to take recall measures to eliminate the hidden troubles.
