The Great Wall Marine Lubricant has passed the 6000-hour ship test in 2006 and has been certified by MAN B&W's medium-bore engine and gradually applied to 50,000-100,000-ton ocean-going vessels. The ship test was conducted on a 300,000-ton supertanker (VLCC class), which began in January 2008 and lasted nearly eight months. After the test, Great Wall Lubricants will be certified by MAN B&W and can be used in all models of its two-stroke mainframe.
