The overload protector is a circuit protection device designed according to the actual needs of the electrical control industry. It adopts single-chip technology, complete functions, reliable action, strong anti-interference ability, and adapts to harsh working environments. It can be used for electrical systems, squirrel cage motors, and winding motors. Provide effective protection against overcurrent, short circuit, phase loss, phase imbalance, phase error and starting process (to avoid starting overcurrent).
The protector uses a current transformer to sample the signal to convert the load current of each phase into a voltage signal proportional to it. The signal and all control signals are input to the microprocessor, which continuously collects, calculates and stores various signals. And compare with the corresponding conditions, and then output the result, the general protector has two aspects of starting and running protection functions.
When the air conditioner compressor is started, the rotor "rolls down" due to a mechanical failure, and the current rises rapidly. When the current exceeds the starting current rating, the protector contact trips to cut off the current, avoiding the burning of the motor starting winding. When the air conditioner compressor is in normal operation, the contact of the protector will also trip and cut off the power when the temperature rise is too high or the allowable current value is caused by external factors, so as to avoid the burning of the motor winding.
The protector of the refrigeration compressor has different protection functions for the refrigeration compressor according to its configuration. Overall, the sensitivity and accuracy of the built-in protector are much higher than that of the external protector. The protective effect of the compressor is also much greater; in the case of insufficient refrigerant or leakage, the protective effect of the two types of protectors is limited. Therefore, in order to prevent insufficient protection, a complete refrigeration system generally needs to be added for the lack of refrigerant Special protection.
In the case of too much refrigerant , the protective effect of the two overload protectors is also limited, so there must be corresponding supplementary measures to ensure that the refrigeration compressor is not harmed; in the case of high compression ratio, the protection of the protector The effect is also weak, so a separate low-pressure protection measure is also needed to protect the refrigeration compressor.
