The use of good results. 1 The structure of double-edged boring tool and its sharpening and adjustment The double-edged boring tool is composed of the arbor, adjusting tool slider, gland and adjustment screw, as shown in the right figure. The arbor material is 40Cr modulating material. The arbor body is machined with two symmetrical chutes as the tooling grooves. The shank of the arbor is a Morse 5 taper shank. The concentricity of the inner hole of the arbor to the taper shank is 0.01mm, and the clearance gap between the cylindrical adjusting knife slider and the inner hole of the arbor is not more than 0.02mm, and the taper angle of the lower cone part is 40°. The cutter head material adopts 10mm×12mm high-speed steel cutters.
