China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association, the 3rd General Assembly of the Automotive Air Conditioning Working Committee, was held recently in Nanjing. The reporter learned from the meeting that the new national standard for small-displacement scroll-type automotive air-conditioning compressors has recently been approved by the National Standardization Administration and will be formally implemented in October this year.
According to Qian Yonggui, general manager of Nanjing Aotejia Refrigeration Co., Ltd., who is responsible for drafting this standard, compared with other conventional automotive air-conditioning compressors, scroll compressors have high energy efficiency, use less refrigerant, and miniaturization. Characteristics, more energy-saving and environmental protection, is a major trend in market development.
In the past 10 years, the domestic market for scroll-type automotive air-conditioning compressors is developing rapidly. It is reported that around 2000, there was no such type of air-conditioning compressor in China. Today, its market share has reached 23%, of which about 90% is produced by Aojia.
