China's first sludge carbonization line put into operation

On October 31st, China's first sludge carbonization line was formally put into use at the Wuhan Thomson Lake Sewage Treatment Plant. The sludge carbonization line first uses a dryer to “grill” the sludge into dry sludge with a moisture content of no more than 40% and fine particles, and then transports it to a carbonization furnace for carbonization and finally produces a black powdered sludge carbide. . The processing line can handle 10 tons of sludge per day and can make 1 ton of sludge carbide. Sludge carbides can be used as adsorbent materials, deodorizing materials, sterilizing materials, fuel or vegetable cultivation fertilizers, and soil improvement materials.
